June Mystery Game of the Month!

Missing: Since January
The Adventure Company

You've received a CD from the agency of journalist Jack Lorski which contains footage from the murder he and his companion Karen Gijman were investigating. The catch is that they disappeared while on assignment and this CD was sent to the agency after their disappearance. Thus, the mind game with one who calls himself "The Phoenix" has begun...

In order to play Missing you'll need internet access. This game is unique in the fact that as you play the game it will track your progress and send you periodic emails with clues and hints (so you'll also need a legitimate email address). These emails are designed in such a way that they seem they are coming from a real person and adds to the immersion of the game. Some of these clues may send you to various websites across the internet.

Most of the player's time is devoted to piecing together clues and working with the forty puzzles in the game. As the mystery becomes unraveled more of what Jack and Karen were researching will be revealed and snippets of video footage taken by the two missing will be shown. There will also be additional information given by the kidnapper.

Missing: Since January was recently named the Computer Gaming World Adventure Game of the Year.
