Clue Chronicles: Fatal Illusion It's New Year's Eve 1938. On board the private yacht of the wealthy and eccentric Ian Masque, you find yourself part of a "select" group of guests invited to an "unusual" New Year's Eve party. Each guest has a story to tell, but their connection to you and to each other remains hidden. Something strange is bound to happen, and everyone is a suspect. At a showing of rare and unusual artifacts, you and the the eccentric guests witness the murder of Ian Masque...or do you? Unravel a contorted plot laced with politics, wealth, the supernatural and murder, set in the shadowy world of a bizarre, mountaintop castle retreat and populated with familiar characters you thought you knew, and new ones that you'll never forget. Along the way you'll find challenging puzzles to solve and mini-mysteries to unlock. This game was dubbed as Episode 1 of the Clue Chronicle Mystery Series, a series that never saw an Episode 2. Hasbro Interactive, which owns Microprose and Atari, also tried it's hand in 1998 with Clue: Murder at Boddy Mansion and in 1996 with the Clue CD-ROM Game. Unfortunately, Hasbro never stuck with a theme for the computer version of the Clue franchise and no new Clue games have appeared on the horizon since Hasbro Interactive was acquired by Infogrames in 2001. Through MysteryNet.com, Fatal Illusion was originally launched as four web episodes known as The Inn at Death's Door. Past Game of the Month Features
